The BTA was founded over 30 years ago by people with tinnitus and is the only national charity in the UK devoted to tinnitus. It is here to support the 10% of people in the UK who have tinnitus, and to raise awareness amongst the general public and fund medical research.

For just £15 per year (£20 non-UK) you are not only able to support the work of the BTA, but you are also able to take advantage of the benefits of membership, including:

  • discounts on BTA events and conferences
  • free information leaflets and advice
