Jaw and Neck-Related Tinnitus Support Group
Event details
Date
July 23
Time
Do you think your tinnitus may be due to jaw or neck-related issues? If you believe TMD (Temporomandibular Joint Disorder) could be contributing to your tinnitus, this group is for you.
Join us on the fourth Thursday of every month for a virtual gathering to connect with others who understand what you’re going through. Whether you’re looking for advice, tips, or just a listening ear, this group is for you.
Share your experiences, ask questions, and learn from each other in a safe and supportive environment. Let’s come together to navigate the challenges of living with tinnitus. No need to suffer in silence – we’re here to help!
Please note: This group does not replace medical or audiology care, but aims to complement it by supporting those with a clear musculoskeletal component to their tinnitus.
Who should attend?
This group is not for general or unexplained tinnitus. It is specifically for individuals who notice their tinnitus is influenced by:
- Jaw pain, clicking, clenching or grinding (TMD)
- Neck pain, stiffness, posture or muscle tension
- Changes in tinnitus with jaw movement, neck movement, pressure or posture
If you are unsure whether your tinnitus is jaw or neck-related, you are welcome to join to learn more and determine if this pathway is relevant for you.
We ask that you please view this webinar on Tinnitus & TMJ before attending.
What to expect:
Our focus is on education, evidence-informed discussion and practical support, including:
- Understanding how the jaw and neck can influence tinnitus
- Self-management strategies for jaw and neck symptoms
- Exercise, posture and tension-related guidance
- Sharing experiences in a supportive, non-judgemental space
