Silent Night – a Christmas gift
A short film made by young people living with tinnitus.
Tinnitus UK has been gifted ‘Silent Night’ a short film made by young people living with tinnitus to help us raise awareness of the condition. The film features an exclusive recording of the traditional Christmas carol, Silent Night, sung by the Head Chorister at Worcester Cathedral Choir. The film is a seasonal reflection on how many people with tinnitus struggle for sleep.
Jo March, Head of Brand and Communications said “A silent night is something many people living with tinnitus tell us they wish for. I am very grateful that Alex Quilter and the rest of the team have chosen to support Tinnitus UK by making such a lovely short video for us. Tinnitus affects one in seven people in the UK and films like this help us to raise awareness of the way it affects people of all ages.”
Sam Gilbert who managed the music production on the video said “I’m 21 and I am a musician. I’ve had tinnitus for a few years and I wanted to help Tinnitus UK because the website and helpline have really made a difference to me. It’s reassuring to know I don’t have to face tinnitus alone.”
Thanks to the following people who have helped to make this film possible:
Alex Quilter – Director and Executive Producer
Sam Gilbert – Music Production
Amella Maxim – Producer
Mattie Moto – Actress
Special thanks to Treble soloist Ralphie Daniell. Head Chorister, Worcester Cathedral Choir.
