Quiet Night Out
Thursday 5 February 2026 at the iconic Union Chapel
This a space where people with tinnitus are welcomed back into culture, not pushed out of it
Tinnitus UK is bringing their Quiet Night Out to the beautiful Union Chapel for a special Tinnitus Week 2026 event, rethinking what a live music night can feel like.
Designed for anyone who’s ever felt anxious about gigs, particularly people living with tinnitus or sound sensitivity, the evening uses a carefully controlled sound environment and free earplugs to create a space that feels calm, inclusive and genuinely enjoyable.
Including performances from musicians from Penguin Cafe, Justin Sullivan (New Model Army), Cosmo Pyke, Kate Ireland, Daisy Chute, Rob Newman, Victoria Dell and The Mother Wolf Club, it’s set to be a celebration of music and community that proves powerful live performances and hearing health can sit comfortably side by side.
For the first time in seven years, I’m going to a live music event again.
