Making noise – Tinnitus Week 2025
Tinnitus Week 2025 in the news

Every year during Tinnitus Week we work to raise awareness of tinnitus with as many people as possible. This year our campaign led to Alex Brooks-Johnson, our Chief Executive, being invited to speak about our ‘Ringing the alarm: The tinnitus care crisis’ report and tinnitus on the BBC Breakfast sofas in Salford while long-time Tinnitus UK supporter Tre Lowe was sat on the Sky News Breakfast sofa in London. Our report even had a very brief mention by Dr Raj on This Morning (catch the full piece online here).
“Today, I was listening to BBC Somerset Radio and heard there is support out there and help groups too! For the first time ever, I don’t feel so alone.”
Tinnitus UK, Tinnitus Week and our report were featured on six different TV programs and 20 different radio stations, we also made headlines with features in the Mail on Sunday, BBC online, MixMag, Audiology World news and a host of other online media outlets. This coverage has reached millions of people and, in case you missed it, here are some of the highlights:

We’d like to thank our supporters who spoke to the media about their experience of living with tinnitus. Sharing these stories helped others realise they are not alone and encouraged lots of people to reach out to us for support.
