Philanthropy
Philanthropists enable us to change the lives of people with tinnitus. For more than 40 years, we’ve been supporting and advocating for proper care and understanding for people with tinnitus.
As a philanthropist, you can play an active role in supporting this work.
- A gift of £2,043 is exactly what we spend each day supporting the UK’s tinnitus community.
- A gift of £9,940 could pay for our helpline for one month, reaching over 350 people.
- A full-time trained helpline adviser costs around £43,000 per year.
- A gift of £39,480 would ensure our volunteers are supported, cared for and able to advocate for Tinnitus UK for one year.
To donate or discuss ways in which you can play a vital role in supporting our life-changing work, please get in contact with Ottilie Scanlon.

What is a DAF?
A Donor Advised Fund (DAF) is a charitable giving account used solely to support charitable causes.
Donating via a DAF enables effective, impactful philanthropy. Individuals, families or organisations can contribute cash, shares, or other assets into their DAF account and then recommend grants to charities over time.
To understand whether a DAF is right for you, we recommend you contact your financial adviser. They will be able to tell you more and help you to select the right provider.
