By Mason Abbott · May 13, 2026

Tinnitus UK is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Easton as Interim Chief Executive Officer, bringing over 20 years of senior leadership experience across the NHS, local government and the voluntary sector.

Chris joins Tinnitus UK at a pivotal moment. As the organisation moves through a period of transition, his appointment provides experienced, steady leadership and the support needed to maintain momentum across services, partnerships and strategic development.

Chris has held senior roles at a national level, leading large-scale programmes and organisations focused on health, personalised care and community-based support. His experience spans strategy development, organisational transformation and mobilising significant investment to improve outcomes for patients and communities.

This background aligns closely with Tinnitus UK’s strategic priorities, particularly strengthening care pathways, expanding support services, and ensuring people with tinnitus can access the help they need, when they need it.

Commenting on the appointment, Chair of Trustees Pierre Espinasse said:
“We’re delighted and grateful that Chris has agreed to step in as Interim CEO as we continue the recruitment process for a permanent appointment. Chris’ experience and understanding of the issues facing Tinnitus UK will help ensure that we continue to implement our agreed strategy and to provide support to our community.”

Chris Easton added:
“I’m excited to join Tinnitus UK at such an important time. There is a real opportunity to strengthen support, improve access to care, and ensure tinnitus and its impact on people is taken seriously across the health system and that we can work collaboratively to ensure people living with tinnitus get the support they need. I look forward to working with the team, partners and community to build on the charity’s strong foundations.”
