During her tenure, Caroline has overseen the charity’s rebrand to Tinnitus UK (from the British Tinnitus Association) and secured some of the largest grants in the charity’s history. These grants have contributed to the charity’s ongoing digital transformation and include the launch of Axel, Tinnitus UK’s innovative online chatbot, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and provides additional support to people who are affected by tinnitus.

Caroline also helped secure funding to enable Tinnitus UK to expand support services in the Southwest of England as part of a three-year project.

Caroline commented:

“I’m really proud of the charity’s new identity, it is has ushered in an exciting new digital era for the charity. It has been an honour to lead Tinnitus UK through a period of such significant change and on a path to supporting even more people living with tinnitus.”

Lynne Gillon, Chair of Tinnitus UK said:

“On behalf of the Trustees, I would like to thank Caroline for the work she has done during her tenure to help modernise the charity so that it can continue to support people and fulfil its vision for a world where no one suffers with tinnitus. We wish her every success for the future.

We have begun our search for Caroline’s successor, who will be someone with the energy and passion to continue this essential work and create long-lasting benefits for people living with tinnitus”.
